Who We Are And What We Do
NEPOBA was established
in 1950 to promote the ownership, training and exhibition of all types
and breeds of ponies.
NEPOBA offers a wide variety of classes and divisions at affiliated and
non-affiliated horse shows in New England and beyond. Good
horsemanship, sportsmanship, and friendship are
encouraged.
We maintain a rule book
under which the horse shows operate. Committee members and
officers volunteer their time and experience to keep the rule book
current and compatible with New England Horsemen's Council and US E F
(formerly AHSA). The rule book is designed to provide an
atmosphere of safety, sportsmanship and fair play for all who wish to
participate.
NEPOBA hosts an annual awards banquet each January to honor the
people and horses who have excelled in their chosen disciplines.
The NEPOBA rule book gives specific qualifications for the divisions.
Membership in NEPOBA places you on a mailing list and you will receive
notification of all affiliated events. Assistance and
information is provided to members to help make their equestrian
experience rewarding, fruitful and enjoyable.
NEPOBA is designed to fulfill the needs of the beginner, intermediate
or advanced rider or driver. Do you own a show pony or a backyard
pet ? Are you interested in breeding or training ? Then we are the
organization for you !
How do you join?
Just fill in and print out the application provided and mail it with
your check today;
then dust off your saddle and get ready for a great season !

Deerfield Fairgrounds.
