The New Hampshire Horse & Trail Association Rule Book is mailed out to members in late March of each year and is available as a paper copy or as a CD copy.

2012 Rule Changes

TO COMPLY WITH NEHC CHANGES- voted on and approved at the annual meeting

PART C, PAGE 6, SECTION #14 ADDING/CHANGING CLASSES  

First Sentence to be changed to read:   No recognized classes may be added or changed after the prize list has been published unless the Prize List Secretary, all exhibitors and all members of NHHTA are notified in writing or electronic communication (including e-mail, websites, facebook or other media) at least 14 days prior to the date of the show.  

PART C, PAGE 3, SECTION 5, ADD “D”   

Add the following as new “D”   A show or trail ride which has to cancel due to extraordinary circumstances (extreme weather, fire, etc.) will be allowed to reschedule based on availability.

Same specifications as qualifying class.  To be eligible, must have been entered, shown and judged in Class #_________

#3. JUDGES – SHOW AND GYMKHANA REQUIREMENTS:  
Delete wording    Gymkhana judges may officiate at no more than five gymkhanas in one season.  
#4. STEWARDS - SHOW AND GYMKHANA REQUIREMENTS:  
All gymkhanas are required to have a   Delete Gymkhana Steward  and replace with Official Timekeeper at each affiliated gymkhana.  
Delete wording "All applications for such Steward must file a Letter of Credits with and be approved by the Gymkhana Committee and shall be required to file Steward’s reports. .

#7. MANAGEMENT REQUIREMENTS  
C. Providing a suitable show ring which should be reasonably smooth,   Delete round on the ends, have two straight parallel sides, and adequate in and out gates.   The recommended size should be 100’ x 185’.  Replace the word minimum with recommended

    We invite Gymkhana Shows to affiliate with NHHTA under our newly revised Gymkhana Division.

  • MEMBERSHIP DUES should be paid before the start of the show and trail season.  Renewal forms for the 2012 season were mailed out with the year end award standings and the Annual Banquet of Champions notice.  If you didn’t receive a renewal form you can use the form on this website.
